Our core specialism is our ability to work with leaders of organisations to define and manage transformational change programmes to achieve measurable benefits. These programmes involve defining the change vision, strategy and plan, effectively communicating the change to key stakeholders to build ownership and defining and developing new skills and behaviours aligned to the change. We have worked for both the private and public sectors with experience in both strategic and operational roles.
When Lindsey left PriceWaterhouseCoopers in 2005 she was regarded as one of the firms change management experts. She also led on the development of the global change management methodology.
Case Studies:
Large County Council - For six months, Lindsey was contracted as Change Manager within the Environment Department of a large County Council at the level of Assistant Director to lead a culture change programme. The project involved directing a major refurbishment, transferring front-line work into a new customer call centre, Introducing flexible working methods and implementing a document management system. This constituted a huge culture shift for the Department and the Council as a whole which employs 27,000 staff.
Key achievements:
- The successful decant of 300 staff into four alternative buildings.
- The smooth transfer of front-line services from the Environment Department into a new Customer Call Centre.
- Articulation of business benefits to be achieved from the new documents management system and led the set up of the implementation team and the design of the system configuration.
- Development of new policies for flexible working and roll-out in the Department.
Unitary Borough Council – Brought in as Change Manager to turn around the performance of the Planning Control Team in advance of an audit inspection.
Key Projects whilst at PricewaterhouseCoopers as Change Mgt Consultant
PricewaterhouseCoopers - Lindsey was asked to take on an internal Change Architect role at PwC to develop the Change Management capability of consulting staff and services to take to clients. This involved developing new working practices, methods and tools, marketing materials and thought leadership. Lindsey also designed and led a global development initiative to develop the change management skills base within the company. She had the reputation as one of the most experienced change managers in the company when she left the firm.
Key achievements
Design of the global change management methodology rolled out to all PwC offices, increased levels of sales for the firm in the change mgt market space, development programme that has been rolled out globally to all change consultants
Carbon Trust - Lindsey led a team that bid and won a large project with The Carbon Trust to work with Local Authorities to assist them to become more carbon aware. Lindsey worked as project and change manager for the initial phase of the work.
Key achievements
Evidence of behavioural change in Local Authorities with regard to carbon emissions. Built awareness of the opportunities of building more carbon efficient buildings eg new schools
Global Nuclear Fuel Company – Lindsey led a transformational project with UK nuclear fuel company to gear the Engineering Division up for competition. Managed a team of consultants over 14 months to achieve mindset shift with managers, delivery of efficiency gains and development of new working practices.

Leaders became more commercially and financially aware, identified savings and changes in procedures to the value of £15m
Global Electronics Company – Lindsey was brought in as Project Manager of a global team of 12 to design and deliver a large-scale turnaround performance improvement intervention in a global electronics company. This programme was also used to drive a culture change programme to unite disparate internal companies. The challenge was to cut costs and find new business within a short timescale.
Key achievements
1000 project managers trained in 10 weeks. Their role was to identify internal cost savings and open new markets. Savings of £130m identified in first year after completion of the project.

Case Studies:
Carl Zeiss – For the last year we have designed and delivered the leadership modules of the CL aspiring leadership programme. Our modules have focused on Communication and Leadership and Leadership in Challenging Situations. Participants have described our style as ‘innovative and fresh’.
Kent County Council – We have designed and run internal open programmes for new supervisors and middle managers as well as designing bespoke interventions for different departments. These have included facilitation of change events and the delivery of ‘Emotional Intelligence’ interventions.
PricewaterhouseCoopers – In the UK we deliver performance improvement programmes to new consultants. These courses teach the methodologies used at PwC. We also deliver core consulting and advanced consulting skills to both entry level and senior consultants. In Europe we have delivered a range of NLP based workshops and interventions for internal consulting staff at the internal European University.

Executive CoachingWe agree a coaching contract at the first session which includes the duration of the programme, the goals of each session and the measures of success for the coaching programme overall. We will normally visit the client at their offices every 4 - 6 weeks for a session that lasts 2 - 3 hours. Our clients also have the option of visiting us in our offices in Sandwich. Typically, we will work on issues such as:

Life CoachingWe agree ways of working, goals and measures of success at the first session. Our clients come to our offices in Sandwich where we conduct all our sessions. Our clients normally visit us weekly for 1 - 2 hours for a period of up to 6 weeks. However, this is dependent upon their requirements. Typically we will work on issues such as:
